Sweet peas fill our house in summer with their beautiful scent and January is the perfect time to get the seeds germinating and potted up. I start mine off by soaking them overnight and then pre sprouting them in a box on some damp kitchen towel. This shows me the seeds that have worked and those that have refused to sprout. Less wasted planting occurs and I only plant up successfully germinated seeds.
